John Digweed to release Re:Structured this December.
John Digweed will release a new compilation called Re:Structured via Bedrock Records on December 4th.
The UK progressive house pioneer will release the set as a follow-up to volumes one and two of Structures, which dropped in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Re:Structured follows roughly the same format: it’s meant to summarize the current state of the Bedrock label, which is operated by Digweed and Nick Muir.
The first CD contains ten new tracks, including cuts from newer Bedrock artists Montel and Quivver, as well as regular contributor Dave Angel. The second disc has remixes of popular tunes from the Bedrock catalog, including Joeski’s version of Bedrock’s “Santiago” and the Cosmic Cowboys remix of Digweed and Muir’s “Track For Life.” The final CD is an excerpt from Digweed’s set at Bedrock’s XOYO takeover in October.
The DVD is also gathered from live footage—specifically an Easter event in London and a Bedrock party at Manchester club Gorilla. Digweed and Danny Howells also run over the history of the label in various interviews which fill out the film.
